Javokhir Ummataliev and Asadkhuja Muydinkhujaev join Queensberry stable

Queensberry Promotions have signed two top Uzbeks Javokhir Ummataliev and Asadkhuja Muydinkhujaev.

Light-heavyweight Ummataliev, only 20, won gold at the World Championships in Liverpool in September while welterweight Muydinkhujaev, a 24-year-old southpaw, won gold at the Paris Olympics and the 2023 World Championships. He holds wins over Yuri Falcao, Marco Verde, Omari Jones, and Roniel Iglesias among others, while the gifted Ummataliev, from Tashkent, has boxed in Baku, Brazil, Kazakhstan, and Thailand.

Queensberry’s Lee Eaton took to social media to write: “Absolutely buzzing to nail down Javokhir Ummataliev for Queensberry, this kid is up there to be the best amateur in the world exciting journey starts Saturday. UK debut coming early 2026."

Uzbekistan’s elite amateur standouts — Asadkhuja Muydinkhujaev (24) and Javokhir Ummataliev (20) — have officially signed their first professional contracts with Queensberry. Both men will make their professional debuts in Russia this weekend. Muydinkhujaev, who won gold at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, will enter the welterweight division, where his blend of speed and precision is expected to make an immediate impact. Asad very quick and nimble. fast reflexes. very athletic. being a 2x world champ + olympic gold, hes obviously got some gifts. but has a very amateur flick and run style (ive seen him literally run) that could use some adapting for the pros, especially in being able to fight at more ranges. he is constantly moving and if someone gets on him hes not as impressive.

jav more of a composed boxer-puncher type who is pretty well rounded and picks his shots nicely. good mix of punches up and down. can fight at all ranges. has been able to solve a lot of different styles, from the bulls to the matadors. if i had to pick a possible weakness...seems a bit one paced at times. the type who you might see edged in a fight where the other guy wasnt as polished but just seemed to want it more.

id guess jav, though not as flashy, is better suited to the pros + has more time to work with

Love the Uzbeks. Seem to be good boxer punchers that convert to pros (broard national stereotype)… but Geeze it must be hard to promote them. Hope this goes better than eds forgotten kazac ^

Did yelluesinov get a lil secret drugs ban you think? Seems unbelivable to me that an undefeated pro/olympic gold medalist would just have 3 years of no fights right in his prime. what a waste of tallent. up there with Mahammadrasul Majidov...
