Valuev had a thick ass skull, and could take a punch, but he's so slow and lumbering that I ultimately think Dempsey is gonna just batter the living sh*t out of him, and bust him all to hell.
Not sure if he would ever drop Valuev, and it's possible Dempsey punches himself out against the Giant, but I don't think so. I'd have to favor Dempsey to stop the big man late in the bout.

Can't wait for someone to say.....
1. Today, Dempsey would be a cruiserweight and he's too small to compete at heavy.
2. All athletes are automatically better as the years go by.

Dempsey would wear Valuev down with body punches and nailing him with left hooks and right hands to either take a decision or stopping him late.
