Nothing major, a broken rib and a broken nose. The mri showed that I had some strange scar tissue on my temples but the doctor said that it couldn't have come from punches. I think the doctor didn't realize that we actually punch each other pretty hard.

Yeah the ribs are a mystery. I have gotten mine cut in half but didn't realize until I heard 'em snap crackle and pop while trying to sleep.

Yeah the same. Cracked ribs,broken nose. The two most common injuries I feel

Stuffed me up for a few weeks. Kept falling off my bicycle and had a mild headache that persisted.

I've never boxed but trained for a bit years ago and i broke my wrist sparring, banged hands against another fella, plaster cast for 8/9 weeks

Don't even know if it's down to boxing, but I get involuntary nosebleeds all the time. Didn't get them before boxing. Also get them after consecutive days boozing or washing my face too vigorously. Back of my mind always thinks it's boxing related.

It's the one sport where you have to realise one's limitations. I learned mine reasonably quick before my being got truly rearranged.

I got a bloody nose aged 12 when my dad made me fight and started crying during a fight at an amateur show in Crowle, North Lincolnshire. Never fought again. Pure warrior.

I used to box my dad as a kid in the kitchen.

I would wear gloves and he had tea towels wrapped around his hands. He would crouch down on his knees and would give me a good hiding now and again.

3 things I never beat the pudendum at, sprinting, chess, and boxing. I always imagined knocking the fkucer sparko.

6 x broken nose (broken septum was agony), 2 broken hands, fractured ribs, fractured jaw..plenty more pulls/tears etc

But the most painful was a a scratch on my eyeball that took a layer of skin off my eye that was naughty

My wife's best mate had a husband that was a PT instructor in the army.
We went up to stay with them in their garrison at Thirsk.
We were bored and The fella said do you want to come up to the gym and we could do something.
Went up there with another army fella and they said " what do you want to do, game of badminton or something?"
I said " how about a 3 way spar?". The fella that came with us was shaking his head, Mickey the PT instructor said OK.

Worst decision I've ever made in my life, split lip, nose gone.
Went back to the girls and my misses said" what the f has happened to you? "
I said" they take their badminton really seriously in the army "

I can still beat my 12 year old now at sprinting and I've got serious joint problems at 57 years of age.
