It came to me from a trainer that there is a controversy that the Inoue team utilizes a form of hand wrapping that makes the hand (and of course, the punch) much harder than normal and that it was contested in his last bout (on the video below). The allegation is that he does that so his stopping power becomes bigger (not taking the credit that he is already strong), but this didn't work out because he wasn't fighting in Japan, where his team (seems) to do that frequently, and that could be an explanation of why he rarely fights outside Japan, and that's why he couldn't finish by KO. This trainer also told me and showed a video of Abel Sanchez complaining when Canelo was hand-wrapping against GGG (video below) that this type of Canelo hand-wrapping would also benefit him when other fighters don't do that. What do you guys know about it? Is there some kind of athletic commission in Japan that investigates that so a boxer wouldn't benefit instead of the other? Because if indeed it is done frequently, it is a f* dirty trick. On the last there was a video of a polemic guy that told other things about Inoue (that mostly I don't agree with), but it's worth a bit to watch (last video).

He fought a couple times outside of japan already. His biggest fanbase is in japan and usually get's his biggest paydays their as well.

If he was reliant of this type of hand wrapping to maintain his power, he wouldn't use winning gloves all the time. The softest gloves on planet earth.

Stacking is allowed in Japan not in Saudi.

hes fought 6 times out of japan and won 5 by ko, which is about the same as his ko rate in japan

his last fight in japan he won decision as well. did not knock opponent down.

so this whole thing about showing less power outside japan doesnt really make sense, some people cant be arsed to actually look at the evidence

I didn’t want to get blocked, so I didn't say anything, but Instagram is actually full of Black people hating on him. I’m not sure why that’s happening.
But back when Casimero was "still a thing" pilipinos liked to hate on him as well.

I guess it’s mostly casuals who just want their man to win.

This is the answer. It's been pretty heavily discussed before and is not in any way a secret. He hasn't broken any rules and if his opponents aren't stacking when they face him in Japan then complaining about it then they only have themselves and their teams to blame. When people complain on social media it comes off as sour grapes from people who don't seem to know enough about the goings on in the sport or they have a bias.

Black boxing fans can't stand the thought that a non-black is the best in the world. They also crop up whenever a white boxer beats a black boxer, crying robbery or early stoppage.

Hand wrapping should be a universal rule this way there is no controversy.
