What was Fight of the Year for 2025?

In my opinion it was Wardley vs Joseph Parker, and I can't really think of another particularly strong candidate.

Naoya Inoue's bout with Ramon Cardenas was really good early, but it got lopsided as it went on.

Any other candidates?

I liked Beterbiev vs Bivol 2 and Smith vs Buatsi more, but Wardley Parker had knockout, so i agree with you

Abdullah Mason v Sam Noakes was a cracking fight

That's enough candidates to add a poll I reckon.

Prograis- Joseph Diaz was brutal.

Yeah that was a surprisingly good fight. I forgot about that one, and also didn't see that coming when it happened.

Tsutsumi vs Higa 2 deserves a mention.

I voted for the first fight between Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn.

A few other fights that impressed me :
very high level boxing in Bivol vs Beterbiev 2
for fights involving frenchmen, two were very disputed, Christian Mbilli vs Lester Martinez and Liam Paro vs David Papot
and just to mention a less known fight, I liked Eumir Marcial vs Eddy Colmenares

Christian Mbilli vs lester Martinez was my favorite for the year.
That was fun to watch

I find it odd that Beterbiev vs Bivol 2 won fight of the year. I remember it as competitive, but not particularly exciting.

Only because of name recognition. The fight was OK but not a true candidate for fight of the year

I didn't recall it even being the best fight of that month honestly. It didn't strike me as special at all. Good, competitive, high level of skill.

Absolutely no drama or excitement whatsoever.
