It's pretty amazing that he beat a 1952 gold medalist and also a 1976.

It's not more, but it is interesting to note that Evander Holyfield beat the Heavyweight Gold Medalist Henry Tillman whenever he was the Light Heavyweight Bronze Medalist from those same Olympics.
He also beat Ray Mercer who was the 1988 Gold Medalist.
Does anybody else even have 3?

This is a fun trivia question. Can't think of anyone else with 4.
Besides Holyfield, Larry Holmes had 3-Ali, Leon Spinks, and Mercer. Gold medalists from 1960, 1976, and 1988!

So Larry Holmes is 2nd place.
Does anybody that's not a Heavyweight match that? There aren't a hell of a lot of guys that have wins over 2 of them even. So it's definitely a pretty rare achievement.

Holmes would be tied with Holyfield for 2nd with 3.
Holyfield had Foreman, Tillman and Mercer.
Off of the top of my head, the only other guy I can think with even two is Terry Norris Norris had Leonard and Meldrick Taylor.
I'm sure there are others.

Trinidad has De La Hoya and Whitaker so that's another with 2.
I forgot to even include Foreman as one of the Gold medalist for Holyfield. He also has the win over the Silver Medalist in Bowe so he came as close as you could without matching Ali's achievement.

Bobby Czyz has two (Maynard and Slobodan Kacar); Buddy McGirt defeated Howard Davis and Patrizio Oliva; Virgil Hill beat Maske and Frank Tate.

Lennox Lewis beat Biggs and Mercer in his long career, avenging an amateur defeat to Biggs. Julio Cesar Chavez defeated Meldrick Taylor, along with the Italian Giovanni Parisi. Hector Camacho beat Howard Davis and Leonard.
