The welter and light middleweight domestic scene was great entertainment back at the start of the 90's. Wesley, Bingham, Swift Jr, Ryan, Hale, Holligan, McCreesh, Foster, Collins, Till, Cummins etc. It seemed that, no sooner had one beaten another, another one would shock the winner. A few of them getting the chance at world level as well, but kinda getting found out.

That's some pretty decent names on his record, a fair old mixture of World titles holders and challengers.

I remember watching him at the small hall venues like Wolverhampton civic centre and on screen sport- great channel for boxing- some excellent cards at the small halls back in the 90s

And did Neville Brown in a round

A dangerous journeyman. On his day was more than capable of giving good opposition a run for their money.

I can still remember Wesley's televised contest with Gilbert Jackson. A torrid affair that was.

The names on his record make for impressive reading !

i never saw him fight, but the relatively high wins + stoppages losses for a journeyman suggest to me that he actually had a good go in his fights?

a record more like tony booth, who instead of being like 4-103 actually won or draw about 40 percent of his fights

Watched Paul many times during the 90s and he always gave his best and put up some cracking performances. Gone far too young.
