We have a month til the next decent fight in HW.

Ajagba has been active and has better wins than Bakole overall who is one below him. Bakole is in fact not far from being dropped due to inactivity. Hrgovic best a past it Joyce somewhat recently but Ajagba's win over Vianello is probably better than that at the moment.

Vianello has been busy and holds some reasonably good wins recently (Makhmudov & Barriere) while only losing a close split decision to Ajagba and also a decision loss to Torrez.

Fury is a placeholder as he hasn't won a fight for 2.5 years and that was a very disputed victory over 0-0 Ngannou his last win before that was nearly 3.5 years ago. He has a fight with Makhmudov coming up and nobody else deserves the 15 spot. If Fury wins then 15 is a fair position for him to be in. If he loses then Makhmudov comes in.

Ajagba up to six due to activity.

Hrgovic down to 7, hasn't fought in a while and has nothing scheduled.

I think ‘activity’ is the key word in the HW division.

Has been for a while.

AJ would have been back in this month, we know he was supposed to headline a Saudi card this month, but plans change. He’s not one to be too inactive usually.

Fury will probably re-enter following a win over Mak most likely. IF he wins.

I'm looking forward to the big Heavyweight rankings shake-up to come in April and early May. I'm just gonna leave them 2 vacant spots open for some names that could well be filling them in the not too distant future.

We don't got a separate thread for it I don't think, but on my P4P list I've begun dropping Bivol and Beterbiev a little bit with each passing few weeks they don't schedule a fight.

Beterbiev is coming off a loss, and his last bout was a year ago now so he's dropped out of my P4P Top 10 entirely. Bivol has swapped places with Shakur Stevenson for now going to #4 while Shakur is elevated to #3.

After the next HW fight. I’m gonna move the thread over to the British section.

May I ask why we are putting Fury back in the ratings before he fights?
He has been retired and I don't even trust the fight will come off. He is kind of flakey.

I have put him there because I can't be bothered to fine comb the fights of all the other guys that don't deserve it. Fury or Makhmudov will deserve that spot when they fight and nobody else will fight sooner and deserve it.

No change for me. His natural rise to #7 seems fair enough to me. If he fights someone in the top 15 and gets a clean win, then I would be happy to talk about him being higher.

I would also be happy to put Gassiev at #14 based on beating even an aged Pulev. The winner of Fury v Makhmudov will make the rankings, so just wait for the fight to happen

Efe to 6 and maybe Vianello 14. No other deserves to enter.

Some of it was due to others inactivity and Efe moving up automatically. otherwise, activity is also key in these rankings.
