what percentage of boxing contests in the UK are actually a competitive contest?
I’m seeing more and more shows where maybe one fight is competitive with the rest being a contest between a novice pro and a guy who’s just coming to lose and not get knocked out.
For example Gerome Warburton fought for a British middleweight title having only beat 2 opponents with winning records.
Belfast next Saturday of the 13 fights only 1 is contested between 2 guys with winning records
Liverpool next Saturday 8 fights 1 contest between guys with winning records
