A very tough fight for Meldrick Taylor. Antonio Cervantes stops Taylor in the 14th round in a brutal contest.

Off of what I've seen I'd go with Meldrick, but admittedly these are 2 guys I need to watch more extensively. I've mainly only seen their losses.

Antonio Cervantes, circa 1970-76, was a fantastic fighter. There were rumors for a super fight in the 70s decade with the great Roberto Duran, but, somehow it didn't materialized.

The main reason for the possible showdown was because Cervantes easily dispatched Duran's stablemate, Alfonso "Peppermint" Frazier twice by knockout and the brilliant win over Esteban De Jesus by decision. All these 3 fights were in Panamanian soil.

Aaron Pryor caught the old Kid Pambele at age 34. Pryor was 24. I am not saying that the Cincinnati Hawk would not be able to beat the Cervantes in his prime, but it would have been a terrific war.
