Lowest standard ever of British Heavyweight Champion

Jeamie TKV - I dont like to use the word 'worst' but has there even been a worse British Heavyweight Champion?

Would (the current) TKV beat (at the time) Michael Holden? Scott Gammer? Hughroy Currie? Neville Meade etc?

Personally I think he would struggle against them all. Aesthetically of course he looks poor, skill wise i feel he looks poor yet he beat Fraser Clarke - or did Clarke beat himself with poor conditioning?

By the way what the f*ck is the TKV? I assume it's initials like Terrance Kennedy Vincent or something like that. Surely his actual name isn't TKV?

His surname is the give away. If you can spell it or pronounce it then feel free to use it instead of TKV.

I see. Tshikeva isn't really that hard to say though. I've seen a lot tougher names in Boxing than that.

He was comfortably beating Adeleye too until the cheap shot.

He was. Adeleye is terrible though. Worse than Clarke.

There are other forums less cultured than ours who have only just stopped spelling Usyk's name as 'Usky' about 6 months ago.

Watch any interview with the Fury family and they insist on pronouncing it as 'Us-Ek' with an E instead of a Y.

The UK is full of 'expresso' ordering morons. He's probably right to shorten his name until he's better known.

He beat Clarke handily (was essentially robbed of a stoppage) and you're right the Adeleye result should've been overturned and he was winning.

He is, aesthetically, the worst fighter to watch at heavyweight I can think of at the moment. Both in style, and definitely in looks. He's the sort of flabby mess that you would be annoyed at for getting his shirt off at the beach. But is he any more grotesque than Fury? Maybe, but not by much.

I wouldn't be surprised if he beat Riakporhe at all. I don't make him favourite, but I reckon he's a live dog.

Not sure about that one. Adeleye almost had Hrgovic out of there very briefly, something I don't think Clarke would ever be able to do.

I don't remember Hrgovic being in much bother but to make the same argument, Clarke pulled off a draw against world champ Wardley first time out whereas Adeleye was beaten for pretty much every second of every round prior to the stoppage. The second Wardley/Clarke fight was a different story of course. Clarke's best win is still Allen but I don't think Adeleye has a better one.

I thought Clarke beat Wardley. I think it took a lot out of him, though.

Let's wait and see how he does as champion.

If he beats Riakporhe, as well as Clarke, that's arguably better than anything Gammer managed.

Well, I don't think the UK has the market cornered for either category of moron.

That’s who my mind went to when I thought of the weakest British heavyweight champ that I’ve seen.

I’m giving the former champs the dignity of facing tov at their best and still think he beats Gammer.

Not sure about Currie or Meade as before my time, but I'd probably pick him over Gammer and Holden (tough as he was).

While Gammer was no world champ, he was a good fighter, a big, hard man, good puncher with good skills too.
The Danny Williams that beat him was one of the good versions of the Londoner.
Scott never lived the life either, always liked a ciggie.
