True, but Middleweight Toney was never the best Toney to me. That being said he still may have been good enough to beat Basilio. It'd be close either way.

It would be a war. A terrific fight. James "Lights Out" Toney by split decision. He had much more to his game. Better ring generalship. A complete fighter.
