Everyone up in arms about the amount of money that Conor Benn got from zuffa to sign a deal. The problem isn’t the money. The problem is that Conor Benn is absolute trash. THAT is the problem.

The fact that people are outraged by him is exactly why he made that money. A guy that you hate in Boxing is worth more than a guy you don't feel nothing about.

It’s a masterclass in strategic birth. He only got this deal because of his daddy.
Not saying he is a bad fighter, but there is nothing special about him.

Benn is a good fighter. He’s also well matched.

Benn doesn’t “suck”, it’s just that he’s not world champ calibre. And he’s famous for being a drug cheat, his fights against Eubank Jr. and being Nigel’s son.

I’m sure he’s capable of defeating decent names that are past their primes or European level fighters.
