One of best amateurs of recent years Oleksandr Khyznyak debuting on the card. Oponent not very good. Need to fight every month against guys like that, especially at age of 31. Should turn pro in 2021 after Tokyo olympics. Paris gold not valuable enough to literally lost 5 prime years. Too old now.

he cared more about getting gold than the pros, for him it was worth it i think
he is such a beast as an amateur, so explosive with incredible stamina, excellent combinations, surprisngly good defence for such an aggressive style (albeit he got clocked in tokyo), but youre right, hes too old to start from scratch in the pros
if he wants a serious pro run, he should aim to at least be fighting at european title level within 5 bouts/1 year.....this opponent suggests to me that wont be the pace he sets. i also heard he still wants to box in the LA olympics, so im not sure hes even serious about the pros , sometimes these top amateurs just do it as a side gig between big amateur events

Lapin KOs Bulmeistars in the 1st, was piecing him up to the head then put him down with a straight left to the stomach, Bulmeistars had no interest in getting up despite it looking like the ref even paused his count to let him
