I am picking Beterbiev by some kind of standing stoppage after Hagler give him a hell of a fight.

Berterbiev stops Hagler-way too big and strong.

Hagler was often under 160 on the same day weigh-in rules. Beterbiev operates at likely 185+ on fight night. It's not really a fair fight.

Why not fair. It is mythical fights fun. Crawford stepped up 2 weights to fight Canelo and won. Former light middle Canelo is called duck by whole world for not facing Benavidez who is fighting at cruiser now. And i am sure Hagler rehydrated decent pounds, even t same day weigh in

Even if Hagler lifted and juiced, he won't win.

I think you make some perfectly cogeant points, but Crawford filled out and was roughly the same size as Canelo in there, not to mention, a 35 yr old Canelo who had been a pro for 20 years. Beterbiev would likely have 25-30 lbs on Hagler in the ring though, it's not a negligeable difference. I would go with the concensus here and say He's too big. I don't know if he'd stop him, but Hagler would get battered.
To think of it today, it's a bit like Beterbiev fighting a big welter. Would you like Haney's chances against Beterbiev? Because that's about the size difference we are talking about.

I have mentioned it before, if Hagler was fighting under today’s rules he probably would be the greatest welterweight or light middleweight ever. Beterbiev is just too big.

He didnt beat welterweight from 80s who was inactive for 3 years. How can he be greatest welterweight ever

He wrote "would be". Hagler would make 147 and rehydrate to 162-164 if he were boxing today.

Well Crawford did step up 14 pounds to 168 and beat a guy who won his first title at 154.
But as was said in this thread Hagler was frequently under 160 and Beterbiev probably never weighed less than 185-190 on fight night his whole career.
