Not sure if this counts I always found this interesting:
Both Harold Johnson and his dad fought Jersey Joe Walcott. Walcott knocked them both out in the 3rd round.

At one time, Micheal Nunn and San Francisco 49er Roger Craig were half-brothers. Then the story changed to them being cousins. After Nunn was arrested in drug charges, Craig said they were not related at all.

Didn’t Clifford Etienne claim to be related to Mike Tyson or am I getting that mixed up with someone else. Not sure if it were true or just to sell the fight.

I think that was the pro boxer Clifford Couser known as "Twin Tyson".
whom I think at one point at least hinted about being Mike Tyson's "Brutha from another Mutha"
but that may have just been something his publicity agent may have came up with)

Ah yeah that’s him, getting my Clifford’s mixed up! Yeah he claimed to be a half brother but as you say likely just a publicity stunt. He certainly tried his best to mimic Tyson minus the boxing ability.

Mike Weaver and Pinklon Thomas were cousins through marriage. Monroe Brooks and Bruce Curry were cousins by blood.
