I got invited to 2 shows today and didn't get out the front door to either of them. Thanks to steve wood and Jobsey.

Fair play to anyone involved in the pro game, and thank you for your service I know it’s easy to take the piss, but boxing must be one of the hardest games to make a living out of. The sport literally couldn’t run without people voluntarily putting their blood, sweat & tears into it

By accident.

Julius Francis was training at the Army Boxing Gym
Which was 5 minutes walk from my house. My pa Rhino who posts on here came with me to watch julius train for his fight with Mike Tyson.

We went that often Kellie Maloney (then
Frank) asked us if we wanted to be part of team...

It snow balled from there ....

I have worked on shows in

Monte Carlo x2
Germany x2
Las Vegas x3
Saudi Arabia x1
Latvia x2

I honestly don't mean to be arrogant but good honest hard graft has meant promoters have used me.

And Spud 2 (my son) has grabbed the reigns ...

Oh wow, that’s great Spud. So you didn’t have any boxing background at all? I assume they paid you or covered your expenses! What a great experience to have.

Clinton Woods, like Hatton, is one of those boxers I’ve never heard anyone say a bad word about

I remember Clinton was being interviewed before the Roy Jones fight. I think it was on BBC when he was a pundit for another fight. The interviewer asks how preparations are going and if he has watched much of Jones fights in order to prepare. Clinton said he doesn't watch Jones fights because it would make him start to get too nervous to get in and fight him.

It was a rare honest moment from a fighter.
