That was a terrible opener !

Chavez vs Sanchez was an incredible slugfest with Chavez controlling the action early and Sanchez eventually breaking him down to the body, and stopping him in the final round of an all out slugfest.

F*cking great matchmaking on this card. Every fight is turning out to be a doozy.

This card has been one if the best for a while. Now for the main event.

Main Event time. I haven't been doing proper Round by Round for the rest of the fights, but I'll try to do it for this bout.

Benavidez looking sharp as ever through 2 rounds.

20-18 Benavidez

You would think a lefty right matchup at 200 pounds wouldn't have a lot of action but they are standing toe to toe and throwing big shots. Zurdo was hurt a few times.

Benavidez absolutely lighting him up so far thru 4. He dropped him in the 4th, and was landing a ridiculous amount of punches.

40-35 Benavidez

Might be the performance of Benavidez's career so far.

Decent round for Ramirez there to get himself back into the fight in the 5th, but Benavidez still took the round I think. Closest one so far though.

50-44 Benavidez

Benavidez stops him! TKO 6 for David Benavidez

The way Ramirez allowed Benavidez to target practice on him was ridiculous. What was he thinking?

That was a scary beat down. I have never seen Zurdo get run out of the ring like that.

This was Benavidez ticket to Hall of fame

Is benevidez now favorite vs jai if that were to happen?

Mabey canelo is smarter than we thought once apon a time….

I can't call that one; a genuine 50/50 superfight.

Then again, I thought the same about Crawford/Spence Jr.

As for Alvarez, he's definitely smart.

He clearly didn't want the heat that Benavidez would have brought, but in a funny kind of way, I think Canelo performs better against someone like Benavidez, whom he wouldn't have to go looking for; David would stand and fight and I think that plays more into Canelo's hands.
