Could London ever be saved now, or is it too far gone?
I tend to agree, hopefully a Reform government can at least save other parts of the country, but London is a cesspit and too far gone.smiling assassin wrote: ↑16 May 2026, 06:20 Parts of London are definitely gone and I can’t see them ever coming back. The way that lot breed it can only get worse
It would appear it's too far gone now, i'd never go there ever againRicky wrote: ↑16 May 2026, 06:41I tend to agree, hopefully a Reform government can at least save other parts of the country, but London is a cesspit and too far gone.smiling assassin wrote: ↑16 May 2026, 06:20 Parts of London are definitely gone and I can’t see them ever coming back. Different people have different experiences. It doesn't mean their position is invalid Just because their experiences are different to yours.Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑16 May 2026, 08:40Some guy spouting nonsense, you get that from all walks of life.
I can only go by my actual lived experience.Seamus wrote: ↑16 May 2026, 09:57 According to wikipedia as of 2016, London had around 1500 mosques. In 2013, Muslims owned over a third of small to medium sized businesses. The London Metropolitan Police's Gang Matrix lists membership as around 90 pct ethnic minority.
Some of the comments here remind me of this forum about Detroit I'd occasionally read. Always had people saying they had just visited that "real bad" area at night, and how no one shot them, robbed them, raped them, and didn't try to sell them drugs or sex.
And what halcyon of perfection do you hail from Seamus that you look askance at London and it's problems?Seamus wrote: ↑16 May 2026, 09:57 According to wikipedia as of 2016, London had around 1500 mosques. In 2013, Muslims owned over a third of small to medium sized businesses. I lived in those areas for 20 odd years and never got raped once! Although a pissed up fat bird did sit on my lap once and start trying to snog me whislt on the central line at Stratford. AI says there are 400 mosques in London, 10 times as many churches for whatever that matters.Seamus wrote: ↑16 May 2026, 09:57 According to wikipedia as of 2016, London had around 1500 mosques. In 2013, Muslims owned over a third of small to medium sized businesses. Can't see that being a problem, unless you were the train driverNightmare Roy wrote: ↑16 May 2026, 11:27I lived in those areas for 20 odd years and never got raped once! Tower hamlets, Newham parts of Leytonstone. Tower Hamlets and Newham have been shiteholes ever since I can remember, Tower hamlets and brent from memory were often the poorest boroughs in London, Leytonstone, not too familiar with it, don't really go there much.smiling assassin wrote: ↑16 May 2026, 13:13Tower hamlets, Newham parts of Leytonstone. No but a few of my mates went and said they had a good day. They said the majority of the people attending were normal bods but there was quite a few pricks there for a piss up and general muggy behavior. In the main though they said it was a good crowd
