Ribalta never was anything more than a punching bag for ranked contenders or former Champions. That's all he'd be against Rahman too.

Leon Spinks and Jeff Sims are the best fighters that Ribalta ever beat. Leon as we all know is Boxing's biggest 1 hit wonder, and Sims was just a journeymen puncher.
