2 Big punching guys of the same era, but they never crossed paths.

Both have lots of power. Both could be vulnerable. This one feels like one that would for sure be fun while it lasted, but how long it lasted is anyone's guess.

Briggs would either take a decision or stopping Maskaev late.

Interesting that you see it going late. It's hard to imagine this one being anything but Bombs away early on, and it's also kinda hard to imagine it seeing the 2nd half for me.

Not impossible mind you, but they'd both have to soak up some heavy stuff to get there no doubt.

I personally think Briggs would get to Maskaev kinda early. Inside 3 or 4 rounds, but if Maskaev hurts him back, he might cause Briggs to be more reluctant to attack.

In my opinion, Briggs would've chinned Maskaev more often than not.

That said, if we match Maskaev from Sam and Rahman 2 bouts vs Briggs from Liakhovich and Ibragimov fights - I'd say, Maskaev was in better form in that time period.

Still, gun to my head - I'd pick Briggs by stoppage.
