Sorry, but Marvin Johnson's southpaw style would find Jones feeling awkward to dominate him as Johnson would land southpaw jabs and combinations on the outside to take a decision.

Jones by clear UD. DJ would have been great as a Cruiser. Too much strength, power and aggression for Marvin.

Eddie Mustafa Muhammad ate Johnson alive and Jones was, at the very least , on a par with EMM. Johnson's jab was countered all night long against EMM and he admitted after the bout that he was never taught how to defend againt bodyshots. A bout with Jones would be similar.
