Both members have had tremendous success in the ring both multiple time World Champions - but who do you think deserves the lions share?

Neither could make more money or money even close to what they are going to make with another opponent. 50/50 is the right distribution of funds

50-50 fair.
Neither bring anything to the table anymore. No one is shouting A side or B side in this.
They’ve each signed their own contracts with Turki anyway. So no splits. Just whatever your purse is.

Fury is more accomplished than AJ. He has his TV show.
So the numbers obviously favour Tyson, but it takes two to tango, which means that 55-45 or 50-50 is reasonable.
Anyone that feels that AJ is the A-side is a hideously obscene moron.

50/50 even
They're both has beens fighting for a trophy that should've and would've been fought for 5 or 6 years earlier in most eras.

AJ won a gold medal - at home. He was instantly famous in Great Britain and on all the big shows, he's also been consistently on the scenes for over a decade, while Fury has spent more time on hiatus/retirements 1-7.

AJ has nearly triple the instagram following, same on tic toc, close to triple on twitter, ect. Also I would say a Jake Paul fight cancels out a shitty tv show in terms of trashy commercial value added…
I think it’s a clear 50:50 at this point, but honestly i find the argument for AJ slightly easier than for fury…

You only need to look at the fan base of each by looking at the sponsorship deals each has.
AJs got Under Armour, Hugo Boss and Audemars Piguet who are well established premium and luxury brands. These sponsors target affluent professionals, fashion-conscious individuals, and collectors who view AJ as a symbol of status, luxury, and sophisticated style rather than just an athlete.
Fury in comparison has Wow Hydrate, Fashion Nova, and Furocity Energy which appeals to a less affluent and fashion conscious fan base who typically pick up their fashion clothing in the same store they pick up their weekly shopping.
50/50 seems fair. Although AJ would probably be able to demand more if he played tough because Fury clearly needs the payday more.

This must be a wind up. AJ took boxing attendances to another level.

Should;nt even be a discusion , without each other what they gonna do fight Chisora , drag Whyte out of retirement , its 50 ---50 all night long ,
What should be discused is WHY pay two over the hilL fighters such BIG RETIREMENT FUND ESPECIELLY WHEN EACH ONE OF THEM DODGED THE OTHER FOR YEARS , Its sort of rewarding them for being scared and dodging the big fight in the day , so fucck em , they have enough money has Fury likes to tell the world , .
tOO BE HONEST I DON;T THINK THIS FIGHT HAS ANY MORE INTRIGUE AND VALUE THAN BIG JOHN and FROCH ,, its pure netflix entertainment value and nothing else

It's a fight to generate money, not to win or defend a belt.
I feel both generate about the same

I think they are a pair of greedy bastards
If the fans meant anything to either of them they'd both try and get the fight on ITV, BBC or Channel 5.
They've made ridiculous amounts of money from boxing and this would the perfect opportunity to give back. Of course, I'll keep on dreaming

That'd be good too. Anything that gives the guy's incentive to give their best is also a good idea.

If you’re only considering the entirety of both men’s careers, then AJ is clearly the commercial A-side. Joshua may even have a larger UK-based social media following than Fury.
However, since October 2018, Tyson Fury has had more world title fights, earned larger purses — funded by Saudi money and US pay-per-view revenue — possesses a better win-rate, and faced superior opposition than Anthony Joshua.
It ‘takes two to tango’, which means that the Joshua-Fury super-fight won’t happen if both men aren't handsomely paid, hence the reason why I previously argued that a 55-45 (favouring Tyson) or a 50-50 purse-split is reasonable.
Even so, I do not see a logical, fact-based, statistical argument for Joshua deserving a bigger purse than Fury (based on numbers since October 2018).

Fair doesn't enter into it. It matters how much each of them wants it.
If one of them wants the fight and the other is just as happy retiring, or fighting bums, then whichever wants it is going to have to accept giving a larger part to the other.

ha ha ha I thought this was what percent I think would win.
Didn't realise it was about purse share.
Of course it's 50 50
