Legendary Marvelous never moved up in weight. How much succes he would have there, what do you think? Could he mix it up with all light heavies in 80s?

Marvelous would have had to train much harder at 175lbs. Those guys like Matthew Saad Muhammad, Dwight Braxton, Michael Spinks, Marvin Johnson and the likes would have been stronger than he.
It would have been interesting if he would had some fights at that weight class.

Marvin Hagler was a great fighter so I can't say he'd have no success as a Light Heavyweight, but he had the perfect frame for a Middleweight fighter.

X2. However, if he worked with a guy like Mackie Shillstone, who knows ?

Got a feeling if Hagler had tried LHW, in his day, he'd have come in in the low 160's. I think he had have some success, but Spinks and Qawi would be too strong for him.

Can't see Marvin being successful at 175. Not for the long term.
