I listened to his interview with Tris Dixon earlier, sounds like he has his head screwed on. Anyone know much about him and chances of winning anything?

ya he is a very skillful southpaw - reminds me of kell brook with the accurate straight punches and good measuring of distance (which helps compensate for him being on the shorter side). won various international events and was bronze medalist at the last worlds. he is much better than paddy hewitt, who is currently the gb boxer most active internationally at the same weight.


surprised he didnt go for the olympics though, he is definitely good enough to qualifiy and he's plenty young still. i guess some guys dont really care nearly as much about the ams as starting in the pros tbf

I’ve seen him fight and he definitely looks like a solid prospect, especially with the support he got in Liverpool. I’d be interested to see how he handles the step up against Whitaker on October 3rd.
