Young Mutley

I have heard that Young Mutley beat Oscar Hall on points last night. I cannot say that I am surprised with the outcome at all. Was anybody at the bill. I would like to see him step up now, he beat Barrett a few years ago but hasn't fought any better opponents since. I know Jacko knows him well, but I think it is time he was left off the leash.

Lets see Mutley in with top ten guys more often.

Also, anyone know what happend to one of my old faves Howard Clarka Clarke - he lost, but was retired after the 1st - I hope his insn't seriously injured.

Muttley looked good in places, but if Hall had stuck to boxing I think he could have won it, Muttley looked a lot bigger and obviously has the bigger punch.

Hall kept getting drawn into the fight, instead of staying behind his jab. I had Muttley winning by a couple.

Clarke either put his shoulder out or pulled a muscle, unfortunate as it had the makings of a good fight.

Should be a report up on BBN by our Midland's correspondent later today or tomorrow.

Sounds a little dissapointing, Hall is okay don't get me wrong - but I thought Mutley would have handled him easily enough.

To say that Hall could have won if he would have stuck to his boxing doesn't bode well for Mutley's future if he is to progress any futher than domestic class.

Shame on Clarke, my favourite journeyman - although could have been alot lot more.
