15 Rounds Super Welterweight Bout

The Hitman would tame the Beast behind his long quick left jabs and right hands before putting Mugabi away in 8 rounds. What do you guys think and who do you got?

Hearns anywhere from 10 to 11 rounds.

Hearns could definitely be hurt by Mugabi if Mugabi landed on his chin, but you have to give the benefit of the doubt to Tommy here.

Wouldn't have been the most shocking thing in the world for Mugabi to beat him though.

I don't like Hearns against a big puncher. But, maybe he takes out Mugabi early. Great fight to consider.

Hearns got rocked a f*cking lot in fights actually. He usually would come through it, and find a way to win, but it wasn't uncommon to see him get shaken to his boots from a big shot.

His fights often became wars.

I know he was rocked a lot- I watched him in real time and that's why I have such doubts about him beating The Beast.

It's a 50/50 fight for me. Whoever lands first.

By those rounds, The Hitman didn't have the power like in the early rounds. Thomas Hearns should eliminate The Beast before round 5. That's his best bet.

Hearns pretty easily at 154 with a stoppage win. 160 would be a lot harder.

True, but that jab could work wonders.

Hearns could outjab Mugabi and win by decision after the fifth round.

Logically I see Hearns boxing the ears off Mugabi for an easy decision or a mercy stoppage.
But this is Tommy Hearns and Mugabi could whack so the first Iran Barkley fight comes to mind
