According to secondsout he's on the Hatton bill in June against Ralf Packheiser. Lets hope nothing untowards happens that could stop the Skelton fight going ahead in July!

Yeah I suppose there's always the chance Danny could hurt his hands, or possibly get cut by flying glass as he bashes Ralf into oblivion inside a couple of rounds.

No doubt Frankie will be dragging em in feet first for the undercard.

I see by his record he has lost two Harrison victim Tomasz Bonin. I guess it makes sence for williams to be active and shake off the rust befor skelton but this will be a truly dreadful spectical for the paying fans.

No sense in giving him a dangerous assignment, but a good idea keeping him sharp and more importantly in training, Willliams himself has admitted he eats like a hungry hippo when not in training, and with so long out of the ring since his last fight, he'd be in danger of looking like one too.

I hope he comes in a bit lighter for this fight, if he comes in at the weight he did for Vitali, he'll be playing into the hands of Skelton. Should come in around 255 I reckon, at which weight he will still be heavier than Skelton and be strong too.

As far as I recall Williams cancelled on Packheiser at the last minute once - like a day before the fight or something.

Though hard to tell, I though there was evidence Danny may be a little more streamlined for this having seen the photos from the press conference.

He just looked less packed in the arms or maybe it was a looser suit?!

Have I missed a day or something? Right, William's will be fighting a tune-up on the Hatton undercard. Where does that leave him v Skelton then? Has a date been penciled in? First thoughts were for Skelton match to be on Hatton or Harrison's card. Now July is the suggestion?

Read it on secondsout. Williams v Skelton will be July at the Excel Arena.

Isn't it a bit too near the Skelton fight?

That's kind of what I was thinking. Not so much I don't think Danny couldn't hack 2 fights in a month, just that fighter innactivity, or rather, 3 or 4 fights year seems the norm now, and it seems quite a surprise that Williams (or rather the promoters) would have him 2 fights in back to back months

He probably wants a win under his belt and some action as opposed to coming off that shallacking in December. If the Skelton fight was end of July its 6/7 weeks. Williams has fought that close together before I am sure.

Think they both pulled out of a fight. Packheiser first claiming illness, then Williams over the steroids claim. But then again my memory is shit.
