Kid Gavilan on ESPN Classic.

I saw the Kid Gavilan-Chuck Davy welterweight title fight from 1953 last night on ESPN Classic and I must say that I was impressed. Gavilan had the fastest hands I have ever seen. I could not believe his hand speed. I have never seen Ray Robinson fight as a welterweight, but he couldn't have been much faster than Gavilan, if he was any faster at all.
I just wish that I could see films of the fights between Robinson and Gavilan, but I don't believe that any such films exist. They must have been great fights.
