I think Diego must be sharp in this fight, we all know how Castillo has probably the best chin in his division, so Diego will have to use his reach in this fight and not make it a brawl.

I think Diego could decision Castillo like he did versus Casamayor.

So my prediction is Corrales by decision.

Very hard to call this one. Castillo is TOUGH, but Corrales is a monster puncher - like a mini Tommy Hearns when he drops that right hand bomb over.

Question is - can the Mexican take his power or not? He's lost a few inside early in his career - says they were all cuts ( well he would, wouldn't he )

I reckon he's strong enough to out tough Diego - Castillo UD - with knock downs a plenty ( for both )

I'm going Mexican too. For me, Castillo's underrated and can win on points or via late-stoppage. Probably the former.

My heart says Corrales by decision, but my head is telling me Castillo on points. I just can't see Chico making a dent in him

Hard, Hard, Hard fight to call. I am giving the edge to Castillo here - for me the guy is THE most underated fighter in boxing.

The Chin IS a weakness for Corrales, Freitas' power has definately deteriorated since he has decided to be a boxer as opposed to fighter. Casamayor floored (and hurt) Corrales in both encounters and I would labell Castillo in the Casamayor bracket for power.

Its not just the chin is the weakness for Corrales, but his defence is aswell. Casamayor was hitting him almost at will in their first match, and really he lost the rematch as opposed to Corrales winning it - on second viewing of this match, I actually can see why Casamayor was upset he didn't get the decision. Sure, I don't see Castillo as good technically as Casamyor, but I think style wise he likes being on the front foot, which is what Casamayor adopted in fight 1.

If (and its a big if) Castillo is still good at the weight then I can see him wearing down Corrales much like he did to Casamayor - I'm not sure Diego can keep up the pace he needs to keep Castillo at bay for the 12 rounds. As you can probably tell I was MIGHTY impressed with Castillo vs Casamayor especially considering he was getting outclassed for the first five rounds. He just ran the legs of Joel and in the end that is the first defeat on Joel's resume in which he was beaten by the better man. He looked a beaten fighter at the end of it.

I just cannot see Corrales making a dent on Castillo and he can also get outboxed pretty easily, I wouldn't call Freitas a brilliant "boxer" but he was winning before the strange ending.

I see Castillo pulling this one out either via late stoppage or on a close (perhaps controverisal) decision.

This is GREAT fight, perfectly pitched and very difficult to call. Although I've not seen a great deal of Castillo, I was picking him to win, due to his performances against Mayweather and Cassamayor,

However, Cassmayor is a small lightweight, and mayweather is not a big puncher, both of which suited Castillo.

Castillo has a very good chin, however, Corrales isn't that easily deterred, and most of his stoppages came due to weight draining more than anything. How he ever made Sr Feather is beyond me, the guy is fornicating huge.

I've basically been talked out of picking castillo to win by late stoppage, and now i don't know how to pick...fantastic.

Castillo by TD. I think, Corrales and Castillo going to be cut, both. Probably fight will be stoped because of Corrales cut. Castillo will be marching forward (I hope that what he will do) and will wear Corrales down. Corrales may even hurt Castillo in the beggining(not likely but still might) but after 6 round past Castillo volume punches will take its toll on Corrales.
I love Castillo but sometimes he fights a little dirty with his head, so in this fight it is good for him.

Good choice, Andrey. I'm having trouble envisioning it, but I'm pulling toward Castillo rallying late, through Corrales' boxing that has won him the first four-six rounds, to maybe drop Diego in ten or so and somehow scrape a points win. Really don't know, though. This is a top-class fight that could go either way. Huge respect to both fighters.

I like Castillo and really wanted him to beat "The Hispanic causing panic" back last June. Not just because of the way he took it to Mayweather in their first fight, but because of the story he was doing it for his cancer-struck sister. He really dropped the blood (both guys did) to secure that win.
Chico is one of my favourite fighters, I watched him on the way up as his first superfight loomed and thought he had a great chance... in the event he was totally schooled by a stunning display of ring generalship. It's cool he has been able to regroup and keep his head (outside the ring aside) to get to where he's at now. Big paydays for both please!

Castillo is a monster....Unless Diego catches him cold....I can see him running out of puff and getting stopped against the ropes in 11 rounds.

Looks like most are going for Castillo - I reckon that makes Corrales a firm favorite.

Can see Castillo outpointing Corrales. Castillo will be too busy and solid

Looks like Corrales is a slight favorite here - in a recent media poll, 66 out of 107 went for the American.

Castillo by late stoppage. He'll break Corrales down over the course of the fight and has pretty decent power to do it himself. He stunned Mayweather with a single shot.

Sratch that, I'm going for Corrales by SD or close UD. Imagine it being similar to the Casamayor fight, won't take many chances and try to box his ears off.

Look how big Marquez is, he would be not only bigger than Harrison but stronger than him aswell.

Polo has the edge in height, but had a bigger edge vs Harrison.

Fighter's heights are so often all skewed. I've seen both up close and I would definitely say, without checking the official stats, that Marquez is taller than Scott, however I would also say Scott has wider shoulders and probably more muscle tone. Sadly, the fact that Marquez doesn't talk smalk wouldn't help Scott get fired up for this one, not to mention his style would be a complete nightmare...

An interesting stat I saw the other day was Toney listed (even acknowledged it in an interview with Larry Merchant) as being 5 foot 9. I had always thought Toney was 5' 10", which he was usually put down as at 160/168. As he put on weight he started to be listed as 5' 11", and now for his most recent fight he's been cut two inches...

A few others: I'd say DLH is about 5' 9", maybe 5' 10". Hopkins looked a legit 6 and half/6' 1", and I actually measured Tyson by hand - I'd say 5' 10" and a half at the very most.

For me personally I found that a 2 inch flux was about the safe zone for height, above or below that you need to adapt things.
