Hola fellow Boxrecians...sorry about the old sudden departure but i was taking an unscheduled holiday at her majesty's pleasure. I'm back now though but i was wondering if someone could update me on proceedings while i was away, as no one liked Boxing i couldn't get it on in the SKY TV room (yes the open nick had one) and only had my trusty Boxing News to keep me company. Cheers

Ah, it's always the first question that gets asked isn't it, Steve?! 8)
Great to see you back mate.
Loads has been going on. See if you can get to see Castillo-Corrales. I've just watched the last two rounds - hairs standing up on the back of my neck. I'd have probably had a heart attack if I'd been watching that live!
Keep out of bother, son.

Good to have you back Steve!
I thought Nigel Rafferty got you in a streetfight.
Now, stick to the scheduled holidays!

Welcome back, Steve689.

Wouldn't worry about missing much: Sky TV don't cater too well for people who like boxing.

Just kidding... partially. :x

Cheers fellas, will be looking forward to Castillo-Corrales this Friday, have got to watch Morales-Pacquiao, Barrera-Fana and Green-Beyer yet, i got my younger brother to tape them so will be waiting to see what a botch job he has done on them. When i was in Hewell Grange open prison in Redditch i bumped into ex-boxer Billy McDougall, anyone heard of him? He said he boxed out of Nobby Nobbs stable and retired in 1996 i think. I had never heard of him but he was a decent fella so will be looking his record up on Boxrec.

I greet you from Majorca, took the missus out for dinner, and finally got on the internet. 20 euro´s for 10 mins in my hotel seems a rip off. Still its better than listening to the Kraut singer downstairs in the bar. Why are these krauts all so fornicating miserable?.... Must be the VE day celebrations.
Welcome back Steve.
There are a couple of blokes who have been missing for ages.
One is Bennie, where the fornicate is he?
The other is Knockout Artist, he´s an old sparring partner of mine from 20 years back. I cant reach him by phone letter or E Mail. Any of you blokes heard from him? Why did he dissappear suddenly?
Having had a couple of unscheduled holidays myself over the years I dont think Ko Artist is prone to getting in trouble, but I cant get hold of him.
Anyone got an up to date number for him?
Any help would be appreciated.

When did a Manchester United and Milan game send Hull down?
Wasn't the poor sod trying to alter his aerial so he could watch this match?

Yes, I believe he achieved a perfect picture too.

Almost certain Hull died after the 1999 champions league final.
