Gammer v Mark Wrench in the British HW eliminator. Anything other than a comfortable victory for Gammer. Will the winner actually get a shot at the British title anytime soon?

My main point was actually to raise a question about Ricky Burns, who's on the undercard. (He being the one who beat Earl in February.) I've no doubt that at 22 he's looking a very good prospect. My only question is, at what weight? I think he's official a super feather, but has fought from 127-141lb. His opponent on Sunday, Scott Lawton (a very decent opp, but IMO should be a steady PTS win for Burns) fights usually at Lightweight (at his leanest, but has been up to 140. So basically just wondering if anyone had any ideas about what weight Burns is, or should be aiming for in the long run.

burns has assured everyone up here ( scotland ) its gonna be super feather for titles can make it with ease and holds an big advantage at this weight but he can also fight at higher weights to make cash get fights and will not be overmatched at these weights as he showed against burns,

Cheers for that. I didn't think he was having problems making the weight, just wondering if he was planning to establish himself at a heavier weight. Good news for bonnie scotland at super feather weight then After the scalp of Earl, I'm sure Burns would be capable of taking on someone like Limond in a few fights.

I take Gammer to outpoint or wear down Krench late on. Hopefully Krence will be the guy to take Gammer into the later stages and test his stamina out.

Mark Wrench is ordinary but 'good ordinary' if you know what I mean. OK, you don't then. What I mean is that he makes the best of what he's got and if anyone shows up who is treating the occasion lightly, he'll grind away at them. In saying that, I favour Gammer.

Burns is out, citing a hand injury. Lawton now fights Martin Watson - a really good domestic clash.

Did anyone go or know the result ?

Yes, it was. Fought at a hard pace for a couple of big lads. I was really impressed with Gammer's hand speed and Krence showed great heart.
