Anyone seen this film?
I watched it a year back and thought it was a cracking film, based on Ruben "Hurricane" Carters life.
If you havn't watched it then watch it!
It's on tonight ITV 11:00, so in 1 minute :)

I don't like the film to be honest, too Hollywood for my taste.

The film really fucked with the facts - EG trying to make out Carter was robbed as part of a racist conspiracy against Joey Giardello...
He lost a fair decision - Giardello's family sued successfully for damages.
Also the scene at the beginning where there is this white paedophile who tries to molest some kids and carter throws a rock at him or something... never happened...

Good movie but its basically a load of bollocks, never let the truth get in the way of a good story though.

Rubin Carter "Fighter" is the book I'm talking about. IMO you can't put Carter's life into a 2 hour film. Just not possible.

Is that the one by James S Hirsch?
I picked up a copy about a year ago but have not read it as yet.
