Oh it'll be on Sky Box Office alright, no two ways about it, and they'll build Tyson up like the second coming of........well Tyson! Personally I stopped buying Tyson's fights quite a while ago, since the Holyfield fights they have been:

a. Mismatches resulting in easy wins - Francis, Savarese, Nielsen, Etienne
b. Half-decent fights resulting in controversial endings - Botha, Norris, Golota
c. Bad losses - Lewis, Williams

The guy is so washed-up now I'm sure he'd love to pack it in but he simply has to keep fighting financially. Kevin McBride is really scraping a new level off the bottom of the barrel though, I remember McBride getting belted out by Michael Murray years ago.

I have ordered every PPV in the three years or so i have had SKY, that is including Setanta but there is no way i will be paying for Tyson V McBride.

One thing about Setanta, you always get dickwad "Colonel" Bob Sheridan commentating. The guy barely stops for air in his bid to continously state the obvious.

Irish fight fans will, afterall, be able to see a live televised screening of the Mike Tyson-Kevin McBride heavyweight scrap at the MCI Centre, Washington DC, on June 11.

Setanta Sport directors, backers of the new Setanta Cup north-south soccer tournament, have secured a bid to show the curiosity collision involved Mad Mike and the Clones Colossus on its Sky Sports payperview channel 438.

Heavy-handed McBride, born 32 years ago in Monaghan, has been campaigning during recent years in the United States and based out of Brockton, Massachusetts.

Big Kevin is on a roll at present, recording seven straight inside-thedistance wins in American rings.

The 6'5" juggernaut's overall record features 27 knockouts from 32 wins, with four defeats and one draw.

Unpredictable Tyson, once the most feared fighter on the planet when he ruled the heavyweight division, has five defeats in his 55-fight record.

Setanta official Sean O'Hara says: "After some research we found there remains interest in Tyson, even though losing to Danny Williams.

"There is also big interest in McBride we felt we should have a pop at it and show the fight.

"We will show the big fight live and exclusive on PPV One on the 438 channel, and it will be screened from 2.00am.

"Muhammad Ali's daughter Lailia-Ali is on the undercard. She will be boxing Erin Toughill.

"Also on the show will be American light-welterweight Sharmba Mitchell, and we will use highlights of bouts on the bill. We will go into the bill at 9,00pm eastern time in the States

I do believe that is still EVERY single fight since Berbick has been televised. Thats is quite something.

I was thinking this might be the first, but no.

As for me getting the PPV - I don't know, I never got the Etteine vs Tyson PPV (and that is it as far as Mike is concerned) but it will depend on the undercard here. Still the element of intrigue.

Pay £15 to watch two bums slug it out? No chance. Setanta are no doubt hoping that because McBride is Irish us paddies will be queueing up to watch him take on the former great one.

you shouldnt advetise sites like that on public forums, all it takes is a nice letter from MPAA, showtime etc and its bye bye site.

I will get it. I will just get a few mates round after a night out its ideal timing as it starts at 2 and then watch Tyson harpoon the guy

The undercard does look poor mind, Laila Ali and Shamba Mitchell vs a poor opponent.

There is a picture of Tyson and McBride squaring up on Setanta. Has Mike ever faced a fighter this big before? I had forgotton just how big Kevin was.

Still poor though, Tyson KO 1 is my pick.

Tyson is beyond shot but he'll still beat McBride easily.

Can't believe they're rolling him out once again, it will be another year of inactivity since he got sparked out my Danny Williams FFS! Only a mug would pay to see this.

spot onm the only tyson fight ive paid for since he bit Holyfield was to watch him get beaten up by Lennox Im not about to start now.

This will be 4 fights in 3 years, 2 of those he lost by knockout and people are still paying to see him?

doesnt make sense to me to cos i dont really care bout tyson never have since he cannibalised Evander.

lost all respect, sympathy and interest in that one swift moment (well two wasnt it, like a great white he circled and had another chomp).

worst thing ive ever seen in a sporting arena and in my opinion was one of the reasons why the sport started to become marginalised by the tv and press .

I payed for the Ettiene fight and was disapointed - up till 4am, payed £15 (when I was broke) and it lasted 60seconds

I honestly don't think Tyson's fights are aimed at the hardcore boxing fan these days, just at those marginal watchers who will buy anything with Tyson in it.

In that case why doesnt he try his hand at porn? That would sell.

And he wouldnt need to touch birds up then.
