Where would you say is the UK fight capital? London, obviously has always been a big place for boxing but over the past ten years or so, Manchester and Sheffield have been dominating the scene. Liverpool had a bit of success also.

I think Manchester has been producing the most talent.

No one compares to manchester at the moment. I wish Liverpool had as many top fighters as them

I'll put the case for Sheffield and let the Mancs and Cockneys do the same.

Johnny Nelson, Junior Witter, Esham Pickering, Clinton Woods are all from Sheffield or based there. Can this city's 'Premiership' be outdone by any other's?

London is still tops for promotions I would have thought but then again, it is bloody huge in comparison to anywhere else.

I reckon Bradford is'nt too far away from being a major fight town. There's some good prospects coming out of there.

As much as it pains me to say it, Manchester. There's so many talented boxers and trainers there, it's the natural choice IMO.

And what sort of scouser would I be if I didn't mention Liverpool? Paul Smith, Derry Matthews, the Burke Bros, Tony Dodson, Michael Jones and Geard Ajetovic (not a scouser I know, but based in Liverpool ).

Do any Mancs or Scousers have one of the big four world belts or EBU belts though? I think not.

In terms of boxers I would say Sheffield

In terms of solid quality gyms I would say Manchester (who are very close in the boxers category also).

In terms of promoters and feeling like the heart of boxing I would say London (York Hall, Ally Pally, Royal Albert Hall, even the Wembley conference centre).
