Worst chin on a British fighter?

Bit of a cruel one this. I go for Pele Reid - the guy looked the ticket until Julius Francis exposed him, then that jaw just looked worse as time went on. His KO's to Orlin Norris and then Jacklord Jacobs were real glassy-eyed shockers, and prior to the Francis loss some old bruiser in Germany knocked him bandy before retiring through exhaustion.
BTW whichever genius decided to bring him back from his first KO loss by taking on Norris probably never worked again!

Herbie Hide gives him a run for his money, Klitschko KO'd him with a shot that brushed his ear.

LOL. Now there were some glassy eyes on Herbie that night.
And no clean shot had landed which was weird. Freaked himself out I think. Klitschko was very robotic back then, much worse than now.

Yeah i nearly wore out my videotape trying to spot the clean punch over and over again.
It's almost like he went into shock once he realised what was happening to him.

I would say Reid and Hide, Wayne Llewellyn not to far behind either.
A Brit fighter with a Tito Trinidad esque chin (goes down often but hard to keep down) was Derek Roache.

I seem to recall Herbie went down from a few fresh air punches against Bowe too. I think what must happen is he get's stage fright when he realises he's up against somebody big and bad and just sorta wilts. His actual chin is probably sound!

Herbie was never the same after he and Bowe clashed heads, he was gone.
The warning signs were there. Craig Peterson in an earlier fight caught Herbie on the break and he went down and was out of it. Petersen should have finished him off, but there was too little time in the round.

Charlie Magri was well known for having a glass jaw - getting knocked out when you least expected it.
BN called for his retirement for years, then he went and won a world title.

Lueshing did not have a glass chin, he took some whacks off Trinidad!! Not the best chin in the world but never a glass chin.

I got hit once on the chin by Simeon Cover,i didnt know where i was but i got back up and went for him again but the ref said 'no-no'...apart from that i would say my chin pretty good

The Geoff McCreesh fight did not give a good representation of his chin. Looked very brittle to say the least.

ur not jamie hearn are you?
saw that at equinox a few months back, hell of an uppercut Simeon sure can hit. Poor Jamie had been winning fairly comfortably then wallop.

Herbie didn't fall when Bowe landed his biggest shots, but fell multiple times from light punches and jabs...
It has to be mostly mental, not physical.
