Totally overshadowed by Hatton-Tszyu nobody seems to be even mentioning this scrap. I'm almost certain this fight was arranged as a potential substitute for Hatton-Tszyu, it seems so obvious.

My head says Harrison, my heart wants Brodie to do it. I suspect many of you will see Brodie as being on the slippery slope whereas Harrison is at his peak.

I can see Brodie trying to box a bit more and looking at how Harrison has been exposed a couple of times by a bit of movement and boxing he may have some success. Brodie isn't slick like Polo or Medina though.

I still think Harrison will overpower him but hope I'm wrong and don't think Brodie will take a one-sided hammering, he'll have his moments.

Went for Harrison by Mid to Late KO.

Asmuch as I'd like to see Brodie win, I just can't see it. If he's completely gone then it will be an early KO, if he isn't too bad then it will prolong the fight to the later rounds.

My voter went to Brodie with a KO in a mid to late round. He's got great heart... but will it be enough to overcome Harrison's skill?

Both slightly shopworn fighters now. particularly after their last fights

it will boil down to who has more left in the tank and, after two fights with Chi, I don't think that will be Brodie.

I would like it to be, but I pick Harrison somewhere in 6-8 to stop a fading Brodie

There's no proof yet that the Chi fights have finished him, and come on, Scott Harrison is strong but hardly unbeatable. It wouldn't take that many big shots from Brodie to bring out that "Shit this is nee gonny be my night.." expression on the face of Harrison once more.

I fear that Chi knocked just about every little bit of resistance out of Brodie that he had left, i disagree with Jack Trickett when he says Pastor Maurin was a tougher fight than Chi. Richard Fletcher's preview in Boxing Monthly is accurate enough for me, i go for Harrison to wear Brodie down for a stoppage around round 8.

couldn't agree more. Chi knocked it out of Brodie.
Harrison's nothing special, but still has enough steam to wear brodie down in 8/9.

18 months ago, this would have been a huge fight.

Like a lot of people, I want Brodie to win. But the main thing for me in this fight is the size difference. Harrison is a BIG featherweight, whereas Brodie has come up a weight. I reckon Harrison stops a bloody and swollen Brodie in the 11th, after taking a fair bit of punishment himself. Should be a cracker whoever wins.

It's worth reminding ourselves that Chi would BATTER Harrison.

Harrison doesn't have any skill. He's just a barbaric caveman with a little bit of heart. Brodie by mid-late TKO/KO or a lopsided points win.

That's not a skill? As others have said... it just seems like Harrison has more left in the tank. I also feel Brodie's skill have droped off a good bit compaired to Harrison. I'll be the guy raising my beer to Brodie though!

Yes I think Chi would batter Harrison and I do give Brodie a chance - but I am not sure if Brodie has the discipling for box for 12 rounds.

Brodie MUST get his normally ruthless body punches going, that could be a factor.

I just though give the edge to Harrison - I think his superior strength and freshness will be a major factor. Although critical to the fight is Brodie being marked up and not being able to see all the shots.

Agreed. Harrison always looks very uncomfortable when opponents have went to the body. Since this is one of Mikey's strenghts, he'd be a fool not to concentrate in this area.

I pick Scott Harrison by late stoppage.

Brodie was always at his best at Super-Bantamweighr and looked like a near shot fighter in the Chi rematch. Brodie I am sure will give it his all and give Harrison problems in the first half of the fight with his body punching and better technique.

But sooner or late Brodie will choose or be forced into a toe to toe brawl with the bigger Harrison, which will be the brave Manchester fighters downfall.

I've said it many times before here, at this stage of his career Scott Harrison is all wrong for Michael Brodie.

This surprises me, I thought Harrison would be more of a favourite, even amongst our knowledgable contingent. Perhaps this is because he sucked so much last time out?

I think its hearts ruling heads again, Harrison was a firm favourite hear as was Tszyu, now as fight time approaches both polls have been pretty even.

I have a feeling Brodie is going to get a pasting. Harrison is huge for a feather, Brodie could still make 122 I reckon.

Brodie on pts if, like I hope, he isn't shot and the rest has actually done him some favours. He won't need to outbox Harrison for the full twelve, Harrison's power is starting to get very overated by some. He'll try and wear him down with his volume of punching but Scott's stamina has hardly been impressive of late and I don't think he is going to react too well once Mike starts hammering him to the body.
I agree with Kilburn, Harrison is a level below Chi.
