Hunter-Guerfi/Wright-Bosworth

What did everyone think about last night's Boxing?
It was my first look at Hunter and he looked okay but a lot of his work looked forced and i suspect he was eager to impress in front of a local crowd. When he took half a step back and let Guerfi come at him he looked a better fighter when he had Guerfi's mistakes to work off and counter punch a bit. You could tell the little fellow only came to give it half a fight and wilted as the body punches took there toll.
Nigel Wright looked good in the main event i was impressed, he is still learning although his defence was a little wobbly at times, Bosworth was just relentless and this type of fight won't do Wright any harm at all. When he used the jab and his range of Boxing skills he looked classy, those left hooks he took are a slight concern if a harder hitter had been catching him because Bosworth isn't much of a concussive hitter. However with things to work on i think the foundations are there for a very good British level fighter.
And the third fight it was hard to gauge much about Andrew Buchanan with only two rounds to go on but he did a decent job against Howard Clarke who has lost about 25 on the trot now, hard to think he once shared the ring with Fernando Vargas.
Anyway i enjoyed the fights and roll on next weekend
