The re-scheduled English light heavyweight title fight between Tony Oakey and Peter Haymer will take place at the York Hall on June 19th, Father's Day.

It will be part of the PPV that you can see live on BritishBoxing.net and will be one of four title fights on the card

Oakey is finished and was always overrated. I don't see what the big fuss is about. He was hanging on for dear life in his last outing.

If you're from Portsmouth then you'd understand what all the fuss was about. The fans always turn up for him down that way and however overrated Oakey may or may not have been, you can't deny he was gutsy and gave his all despite his limitations.

That said, Haymer takes this one. Peter must be getting close to a title shot at the British.........or is he and the rest of them just waiting until Oboh gives it up?

Is this the very same Portsmouth crowd that spat in Neil Simpsons face when he was on the way into the ring in their fight a couple of years ago???
