I wanted to know if the former great world middleweight champion Carlos Monzon really stood at 6 feet tall or 6 feet 2 inches tall? Silkov did you know how tall he really is? Please just help me out. I read in the book of international boxing hall of fame that Monzon is 5'11 1/2". Is it true?

Well BoxRec has him at 6' 2" and he certainly looked pretty tall.

Actually I was confused with the old highlights in the video of Carlos Monzon slaughter of Jose Napoles that the commentator said Monzon stood just 6 feet tall.

What is his reach that is what puzzles me.

I heard from the old commentator from the old video of Monzon's fights said he was 6 feet tall. Was he right or wrong, because you recorded him at this site at 6'2". Can anyone tell me what was Monzon's actually height?

Please stop ignoring me, I just want to know the answer why would other commentators say Monzon was 6 feet tall if the boxrec said he was 6'2".

he was two foot 6 actually they got it the wrong way round, however he painted stilts and filled them out with papier mache to look like real legs.

Hence his nic-name little known to the masses "Monzon the mean midget."

Always thought Monzon was a tad under 6 feet

According to the Tale of the Tape from the Monzon-Napoles fight, Monzon is 5-11 1/2" with a 77" reach. I think his long reach tends to make people think he is taller than he is. The listings of 6-1 and 6-2 are way too generous.
