I'm convinced that Kos is the better man and 1/2 isn't bad.
However I fear something dodgy might happen.
Any thoughts?

I have 30 quid on Tszyu in rounds 2 & 3. 60 in total. 23 to 1 on both at Betfair.

Well zoo's a sound bet, but I don't want to be cheering on the wrong man Sat night, just for the sake of a few quid

I just hope the Manchester crowd show Tszyu the respect he deserves.

I'll be cheering Hatton on too dont get me wrong, but 23-1 on rounds 2 and 3 is pretty good. I have a feeling Hatton will be in serious trouble the first time a clean right hand lands on the chin so could be a good bet.
Plus I prefer to bet early like that, then if its past round 3 all such mixed feelings are long gone.

Good thinking, plus you'll want Ricky to batter Tszyu even more after round 2 for costing you 60 notes.

After round 3....
Got 30 on round 2, and 30 on round 3.
That's 690 plus the stake back if it happens in one of those rounds....
I bottled out of putting 50 on each round.

I will be cheering for Ricky, a Hatton victory is just what Bristish Boxing needs.
But I reckon the easiest punch to hit Hatton with is the right cross.
Ricky has a chance, particularly if he gets inside the range of the right and keeps his chin down.
He looks and I'm sure is in fantastic condition. If he catches a right flush and stays up it will be down to his chin and conditioning.
But I wouldnt be surprised if Tszyu starched him in one. He hits so fornicating hard with a single shot, that right is so so so fast, at short and medium range.
If i was having a bet on rounds Tszyu KO1
It would be a miracle if tszyu does not land the right flush.

i don't think tzsyu will win in the first because he is such a slow starter. I am calling the 5th round. There will be a feeling of impending doom from the opening bell, but Hatton will start brightly and win the first few rounds. He'll get caught in the 4th and hold on. In the 5th he'll get caught again and stopped. The crowd will be shocked.
I think hatton will have too much heart to go down in the 2nd or 3rd. He'll leave it all in the ring, and I don't think he can be counted out that early unless he gets coldcocked.

Im going with that but the other way round with the fighters, someone has to have faith in Rickys Body Shots

I'd say Tszyu's left hook to the body is better than Hatton's.

Was going to put some silly money on Zoo but after my last big boxing bets (Kindelin, Golota and Eastman (last one's excused due to me having a preminition) I've doubled Zoo up with Harrison and kept half my hard earned for horses. Don't mind if Hatton wins though obviously. Or Brodie really, so it's a win win. Peter Cook the comedian was a spurs supporter and always put £100 on the team they were playing so that there was always an upside come 4.45.

Thats like saying my Gun is bigger than yours, it dont mater!
All that maters is that you can aim and it lands, it will still have the same affect

Tszyu's the puncher in this fight, Hatton hasnt one shot KO'd anyone in a long time. In fact the only guys he one shot KO'd with his body punches were Super Featherweights like Pep and Pendleton.

I wont argue with you as i always bet from the heart & if its a British fighter i cant bring myself to bet against them.
Im -£1300 down in bets in 18 months
You can blame Eastman, Khan & Williams mostly for that! & me being greedy
So he has to win or i got to sell the car
I just want him to win and need to convince myself of betting £150 on a Hatton win

Nothing wrong with betting from the heart, although if your waging fairly large stakes then things get a bit dodgy. Even if Hatton were to win, fantastic from Brit boxing point of view, but he's what, 13/8 6/4 or something now, not brilliant from a 'proper large' bet point of view.

Nah, don't think it will be somehow. I did stick a tenner each on Ruiz/Toney and Brewster/Golota draws and the double, just for the totally dodgy robbed victory draws I thought they could spring up. Don't think Scott/Mike is quite up to that yet, even allowing for the WBO and Polo result. And Brodie-Chi I for that matter.

Yeah, thought the same thing (
click here) when this fight was announced at the MEN. Feel sorry for Kostya having to always put his title on the line in America, then having to run from the ring under cover in Phoenix, or being in a war with Philips to big chants of "USA! USA!". Then he fights at the huge telstradome and the place is ghostly quiet (plenty there, though).
Manchester will probably be the worst next to Phoenix (providing no trouble kicks off), since, in effect, he will be boxing in front of a football crowd. To them he's just another opponent for Hatton to knock over. Win or lose he'll get no respect from a lot of them.

I meant the Tottenham games Peter Cook used to bet on as per the quote! ;)
I very much doubt Hatton will see out 12 rounds to even get a chance at a draw.

Might throw a sly tenner on Hatton KO10
