At his listed height of 6ft 9" can anyone think of a taller UK Boxer than 'Big Bad' James Oyebola?

I can't off hand, but I am off far a long walk and shall ponder this question whilst I am prowling around the Leicestershire countryside.


P.S. I always though James Oyebola was 6ft 10"?

Nikolay Valuev did box over here a few times, but British he weren't. of course. Henry Akinwande was something like 6'7".

I didnt think Oyebola really was 6'9, always thought he was about 6'7. I could be wrong...

Officially I suspect Oyebola is the tallest British boxer (albeit of Nigerian descent).

I've got a picture with him and John Fashuna when I was about 14 or 15 and I was absolutely dwafed by Oyebola.

i am not entirely convinced big bad james was 6 9.... like nick said, closed 6 7 i would say!!!
