Two days after his loss to McBride, Tyson inks a deal with Don King to challenge Lamon Brewster for his WBO heavyweight title. Strange, huh?

its bollox on a lighter note

After Saturday's fight a reporter asked Ali who would win in a fight between himself and Tyson. Ali said that he figured Tyson would win a unanimous decision. The reporter pressed Ali as to why he thought that Ali would lose a decision to Tyson. Ali responsed by saying, "because I'm 63 years old."

That's Don Bradman's trick.

Some interview he did a few years back went along the lines of the interviewer asking him how many he'd average if he was playing in the current era. Bradman had a think and suggested that he'd average around 60. Interviewer suggested that this meant he'd still be the best in the world and Bradman came back with 'Yes, but I am only 75'.

Great stuff, the guys still on the ball!.
Seriously though even a faded Ali would beat a peak Tyson... too much heart and intelligence... and I think Tyson would be psyched out too.

actually that quote originated from Ty Cobb years and years ago. he was asked how he would fair in todays ball game (this was back in the 50s or 60s) he said he figured he could only hit about .289. the interviewer asked him why so low since he did much better during his career. He answered because he was 65 years old (or however old he was at the time) and the funny part was he wasnt joking :o
