Fair play to Scott for wanting the fight, but Marquez is a masterful box and I don't see how Scott can win this one. I will be cheering Scott on though

Harrison is not at the level to beat Marquez. I don't think he should be putting a big payday before a credible and winnable fight such as Chi

Posts haven't been of the greatest quality here, I do not know Harrison so I don't like to comment about what Harrison is like as a bloke.

He will get outclassed I have little doubt, but still I don't think some of the comments have been just.

Having met Harrison a couple of times I have to say he's an absolute arsehole and thinks he's the hardest bloke on the planet (although I wasn't going to argue the point with him).

If he fights Marquez he gets destroyed in 6 rounds probably getting knocked down on numerous occasions.

He should target a fight with Chi it would be a much more even contest.

Chi's got a mandatory defence vs Juarez though.

Cannot believe Harrison is having some criticism for taking on Marquez. I think Chi will beat Harrison aswell.

I respect Harrison for wanting to take on the best, I wish more fighters were like him in that way but I just think he's way out of his depth against Marquez.

I'd pick Chi over him but I think it would be a close fight and pretty good to watch aswell.

Chi vs Harrison has fight of the year written all over it (if Corrales vs Castillo hadn't happend). However, I don't see a close one - infact I think Chi might do a more decisive job than Marquez. I can see Marquez labour to an emphatic points win (both brothers ocassionally do that and can be a bit dull). Chi I think though will do what Brodie did in rounds 2 and 3 vs Harrison from the off. Harrison will not hurt Chi and Chi is faster than Scott.

The thing is, with the greatest respect to Harrison (which I didn't execute at all well previously) I'm not sure what he would gain from a fight vs Marquez. Obviously, if he wins, thats of course it's a different story. But to be honest, I'm not sure he's shown enough, consitently at any rate, to be able to beat Marquez. And I just think that in a fight like this, he's not got a) the real upset potential of Hatton vs zoo for example or b) the 'what the hell' 'big reward'-type fight that Danny Williams got against Klitchko.

It may not sound it, but I am worried that if Harrison fights and loses to Marquez, then his career will be left in Limbo, which I don't want to see happen

Not sure I agree there, what are the bigger named NINE STONE fighters are there.

The big three Pacquiao, Barrera and Morales all seems set to fight at 9 stone 4. Possibly best if he takes on Marquez now before he follows suit.

I think there are plenty of avenues for Harrison to fall back on should he get humiliated by Marquez. Maloney has done it before with him (with the Medina rematch) and there will be the Cook/Williams winner - I think the winner of a fight between Harrison and Cook/Williams will be right in the world featherweight picture.

If I honestly thought Harrison had a significant greater chance vs Chi I would agree, but I don't - even this Chris John fella sounded impressive last time out.

I'm not sure who Harrison can fight that is an improvement from Brodie and who I think he can beat. Cannot really think of anyone of the top of my head.

Marquez would be an obvious clear favourite here because of the styles, but he ain't nearly as unbeatable as most UK fans think.

Nine stone aside, how about Harrison versus European super-featherweight champion Alex Arthur, should he be defeated by Marquez? Would be a huge domestic fight and would suit Scott's weight issues. It would also be the type of fight that Arthur needs to prove himself (against a pressure fighter).

If this fight is really going to get made, I can only assume that Scot has been banging his matchmaker's wife - allegedly.

A very very tough night in store for Harrison

Marquez would lay a methodical beating on harrison but harrison's is brave and is tuff so would last in the second half of the fight.Has anyone seen marquez's fight against freddie norwood?

i think marquez wouldd stop harrison.

I hope this fight happens, it would definitely be interesting and would get us a step closer to a unified champ at 126. Although either of those two guys against either Injin Chi, Rocky Juarez, or Chris John would also be entertaining.

Marquez would box Harrison's ears off.

The precise counter punching, the excellent movement, his command of the ring, his solid punch, his stamina. All too much for Scott. Fair play if Harrison takes it, but Scott is long overdue meeting a top class performer at their peak.

I agree Marquez is class. He showed how to box Victor Polo, Marquez is a world class fighter.
