Limond to win without too many problems tonight? What do you reckon? I must admit I've seen very little of either fighter.

I think Limmond's performances have picked up recently. He's been training with Scott Harrison and that must have toughened him up a hell of a lot. Not seen O'Hara at all, so can't really comment on that.

Ricky Burns fighting tonight as well. Both Burns and Limmond should only be a fight or two away from a British title challenge if things go according to plan.

Interesting that it was decided to give Limmond his first headline fight tonight rather than putting him and Burns on the Arthur Sinitson card. Hope they sell enough seats at the Kelvin Hall to make it worthwhile. Limmond isn't my favourite boxer in terms of style, but seems a decent and amiable guy. Good luck to both him and monty tonight

To me O'Hara looks like he doesn't know what style of fighter he is, when he first started his career he was trying to be like Hatton and was rushing in a bit too much but in his last 3 fights he's looked more controlled and picks his punches beautifully but at times slips back into throwing a barrage of punches without thinking about what he's doing.

I think this fight against Limond has come too early for him and he'll be stopped late on, although he might raise his game and make it a close fight.

A decent performance

and, I have to say I admired his candour when asked about a rematch with Arthur. He said something like

"by the time I get to the level he is now, he'll be off in the distance"

Rare to see a fighter recognising their own limitations so fairly

I think Limmond is a good lad with his head screwed on. He knows that at the moment Arthur is now on the European/world-ish stage whilst he's still reasembling things at domestic level after losing to Arthur.

Limmond-Docherty for Brit and Comm title if Arthur vacates them? Having said that, it would actually be quite sad to see a loser in that match-up. Especially if it was Docherty on the wrong end, that could seriously harm his career. A docherty win tho would be the perfect remedy after the Sinitsin and Arthur defeats.

I didn't catch the whole bill, will view it later. But I came in from work and saw this guy making his pro debut. Aparently a Scotish ABA semi finalist.

If that is a Scottish ABA semi finalist, well it doesn't bode well for the future. He was one of the poorest fighters I think I have ever seen.

My old man told me to go to Scotland and apply for residency. I hope there are alot better Scots than him.

Reasonable performance by Limond I had him a wide 99-92 winner.

I've always been a fan of his to be honest and think he can do well at British and maybe European level if matched a bit carefully.

What a cracking four round dust-up on the undercard. That Egyptian fellow was like a carzy horse.

Very true, Ali did a a good show last time and Burns should be touted as one of the best prospects in the country.
