Well, the last scheduled heavyweight title fight for over 15 rounds was the Joe Louis-Bob Pastor fight, scheduled for 20 rounds in Louis's hometown of Detroit. Louis won by knockout in 11.
Other than that, the last 15+ round title fight I know of is Mike McTigue's 20 round points win over Battling Siki in Dublin. The fight took place on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, in 1923.

Max Baer and Paulino Uzcudun went twenty in in 1931 and then Baer and King Levinsky went 20 in 1932, but I think there was another fight between two lesser heavyweights sometime during the 1930s, after 1933, that went twenty rounds.
The guy that I was thinking about was Bill Poland. He did not go 20 rounds thoguh, but his 1941 bout with Eddie Blunt was scheduled for 25, the last bout to ever be sceduled for 20+ rounds.
