Joe Calzaghe's future.

With Tarver beating Johnson it seems like it might have scuppered Joe's future in fighting Johnson (or at least Joe fighting Johnson while he is considered the #1 Light Heavy). By the sounds of things it looks like Tarver has got the rest of his career mapped out and that doesn't include Joe.
So I ask, what should Joe NEXT fight be and do you think he will now get a legacy defining fight (if so, who).
There is talk of Calzaghe facing Lacy, but Lacy is fighting Robin Reid in August. Whilst I don't doubt that a fight with either could be easy to make, I do expect Lacy vs Reid to be quite a bruising encounter and therefore the winner might not be ready untill the begining of next year.
Do you think Calzaghe should wait another 6 months or do you think he should have a fight (or maybe two) beforehand. Perhaps, Brian Magee might get his shot now?
Should he forget about the Lacy/Reid winner and look at Clinton Woods after if he overcomes Gonzales. Which fight is better for his legacy, I'm not sure that either fight will elevating him to the "great" status that he craves.
It looks like a potential lean period for Joe with all the champions busy, who do you think Joe should fight next and who will you be chasing in the future.
Thoughts.
