Has anyone got any information on who Tiozzo is likely to fight and when?

Tiozzo comes off an impressive performance against DM...do you think he could be a threat to Tarver?

I thought Erdei was fighting Sanoune and Tiozzo fighting Ulrich?? winners unify??

Tiozzo is old, he doesnt need to be fighting Ulrich which will no doubt be cancelled a few times

Didn't see the fight with DM but it doesn't seem that likely does it? Fabrice has done well to come back from obscurity and hold a major title again but let's not get carried away, Tarver has been operating at another level again. Also I think Antonio, being no youngster himself, has the rest of his career roughly mapped out now and it probably doesn't involve Tiozzo. Surely the biggest realistic fight for Fabirce right now is a match with countryman Mormeck?

It seems like Ulrich will fight for the WBC vs Adamek instead of Tiozzo, but maybe Universum will let Drews fight Tiozzo instead??

BTW Raff, I read yesterday that french police are investigating the Acaries regarding doping, do you know more about that?

dont assume that Tarver is better than Tiozzo.... Tarver and Johnson were pretty close as were Woods and Johnson so there isnt much between the top euro fighters and the top americans..... Tarver certainly isnt operating on another level

agree :TU: Tarver and Johnson are nothing special. DM and RJJ are also done. the division is wide wide open even for Joe Calzaghe who is IMO better than all reigning LH Champions.

IMO the Erdei-Sahoune-fight is also an WBA-Eliminator. Winner could make an unification fight. Ulrich should fight Adamek on the Krasniqi-Brewster-undercard on Max`s 100th birthday.

the Acaries are a kind of mafia here in France...there are many many suspicious affairs they have undergone...

I'd like to think that too but how has Calzaghe beaten guys of the quality that Tarver has beaten? For me Tarver and Johnson are a cut above the rest right now.

If that is happening, then Ulrich will have to vacate - surely an opportunity for Oboh.

Has Oboh died?

No, but when you are inactive for more than 9 months (I think its 9) you are off the rankins.

I would like to see more of this Oboh. Seems like a forgotten man with alot of talent.

Nobody at 175 has ever wanted much to do with Oboh unfortunately, he's just too awkward and dangerous. The guy has had to find work against heavies and cruisers in the past such is his undesirability to other light-heavies. I can fully understand it though, Oboh has a very awkward style combined with very heavy hands for a light-heavy. The way he beat dangerous Chris Davies said a lot, perhaps a bit too much for his own good.

Who is Oboh's promoter? It confuses me, if he is that dangerous why
hasnt a top promoter snapped him up?

Well that's a good question, all I can say is that Oboh is perhaps best described as "deeply unfashionable".

Stipe Drews fights Silvio Branco for the vacant title.
