Just got through watching hatton speak about his fight and blow by blow, and his predictions on the gatti-PBF fight..He was in studio guest for friday night fights on espn..His analyisis on PBF and gatti was very good, he's very well spoken and thoughtful..I think he'll go over well in the U.S.

I can't speak for everyone else, but I thought he did a very good job. I really liked when he stated that Mayweather was a "class act."

Hatton is no mug and always speaks well for me, who did he pick out of interest? Mayweather i presume.

I don't recall if he made a choice, or not. They showed a clip of Mayweather and of course Floyd said some kind of juvenile, smart-ass remark about Hatton, which afterward Hatton remarked to Brian Kenny "he's a class act isn't he."

I think Hatton showed all the class anyone could want during that tiresome phase when Junior Witter would harangue Ricky after every fight. Sky used to do the same when they'd have Johnny Nelson bothering Carl Thompson after his fights. That used to say a lot about Johnny's lack of appeal considering it was him who won the fight when they met. Anyway, there were letters of complaint to BN on the subject, and they packed it in.

Hatton said his heart is with gatti and said he could beat mayweather if he shortens up his punches and works the body..but said his head is with mayweather..PBF is just too quick for gatti he says.

Could be, Sheffield's loudest Irishman was never known for his tact and reserved nature of course....

i seem to recall that Ingle was there egging Johnny nelson on to berate Carl Thompson after he'd just had a life and death battle with Eubank.

it's all part of the game though, it's just trying to make fights happen.

Ah, but Nelson also came back to abuse Thompson after he had beaten him in 1999, basically because Nelson needed the rematch more than Thompson did I suppose, due to Carl's ability to generate excitement, and Johnny's inability to do likewise.
