Newbridge welterweight Bradley Pryce has returned to trainer Enzo Calzaghe and promoter allegedly.
The 24-year-old split from the stable last year to join trainer Tony Borg, but has now had a change of heart.

"It was a tough decision, Tony's a great trainer, but the past year has ripped me to shreds financially," Pryce told the South Wales Argus.

Having gone nine months without a fight Pryce will meet unbeaten Scot Kevin Anderson in a British title eliminator.

The contest will be a tester for the always-game Pryce, who has won 20 of his 25 bouts.

But the victor should get a shot at either Michael Jennings or Jimmy Vincent, who meet for the vacant British welterweight title at the Reebok Centre, Bolton, on 16 July.

"I sat down with Enzo and he told me what he expected," said Pryce.

"The last nine months have been a nightmare and I have had to do a number of part-time factory jobs to keep going.

"I am going to give boxing my all and I want to stay with Sports Network because I believe and hope they can get me the fights I want."

Anderson too beat him for me still, what use think?? kevin is still undeafeated and looking good so far if you ask me,

I think Anderson will win but Pryce will as usual put up a good performance.

A few years ago I thought Pryce looked a really good prospect but I think that after his first defeat Sports Network decided that he'd be better as an opponent rather than someone they were prepared to help get a title - I still think he's capable of winning the British Title but he's not going to do this by constantly being put in hard fights.

Also I think that Enzo Calzaghe is an average trainer, apart from Joe he's never had a fighter who's achieved anything (Gavin Rees is maybe an exception but he's wasted the last 2 years of his career and I don't think Enzo's helped him that much). Enzo gets a lot of credit for what he's done but I'm still to be convinced.

Can anyone remember the name of Pryce's brother ? he was a really good amateur but went off the rails a bit and Enzo threw him out of the gym before he turned Pro.
